Line of Sight Photography

This is an effective line of sight photograph because the lines of the track,  draws the attention of the viewer down the track. I like this photograph because of the way the photograph is angled. This photograph was taken in landscape mode, with ISO 400.

Disruptive Pattern Photograph

This is an effective disruptive pattern photograph because the guy in blue is disrupting the bleacher's pattern. I like this photograph because of the way the guy is in contrast with everything else. Taken in landscape mode, and ISO 100.

Pattern Photography

This is a very effective pattern photograph because it has a consistent pattern. I also like this photograph because of the focus on the wire in the door window. This was taken in portrait mode with an ISO 400.

Contrast Photography~

This is an effective contrast photograph because the blue trash can lid is in contrast with the grey fence and pavings. The trash can lid is also the "pop" in the photograph. Was taken in Portrait mode, with ISO 400.

This photograph was taken around my block, eight days after Hurricane Sandy struck. This photograph shows one aftermath of the hurricane. Also, since this was still here eight days after the storm, it shows that it would be a slow and longing road of recovery.

Personal Hurricane Sandy 2012

This is a very meaningful picture on the aftermath of the destructive Hurricane Sandy that I took. This was written by an 10-year old girl who was very unhappy about Sandy's destructive.

Hurricane Sandy 2012

This professional picture is very moving because it displays the destruction Hurricane Sandy has done, as well as a sign of relief that the worse of the storm has passed.

This is an effective framing picture because the outline of the door is being used as a frame in a unique way. Taken in ISO 400.

To me, this is an ineffective photograph because of the way the frame of the window came out. The frame ended up looking awkward all together. This photograph was taken in portrait mode, ISO 400.

This is an effective framing photograph because the sidings and the ceiling are framing the picture. I love this picture because of the way the photograph came out. It was taken in landscape mode, ISO 400.

This is an effective portrait because the subject is in focus and the background isn't. It is also an ineffective ISO photograph because since the lighting outside was bright, I should've used a lower ISO. This was taken in portrait mode,  ISO 100.

This picture was taken in portrait mode, and also in ISO 800. This picture was ineffective because since the lighting in the background was so bright, and the ISO was 800, there were bright, white spots on the photograph. I learned that when you take pictures, if there is bright lighting, you use a lower ISO, and vice versa.

This is an effective night mode photo because the camera was able to brighten up the background. This was taken in
night mode.

This photograph is the least effective. I say this because the background behind the subject is in focus instead of the subject itself. This picture was taken with Portrait Mode.

This photograph is the most effective because of the way my subject was in complete focus. Also, the way a shadow on the side of her face compliments the photograph. The way her hair is blowing in the wind is absolute breathe taking! This photograph was taken in Portrait Mode

This is another very effective rule of thirds photograph because of the angle of the picture and
also because of its high quality!

This is one ineffective rule of thirds photography because I didn't realize how awkward it would
come out if she was facing out of the picture.

'Rule of Thirds'
This is a very effective rule of thirds picture because of how the sign is being focused
on and the perspective of this photograph.

This is my favorite photo because of the focus on the school in the background.
