Glow Stick Project

This week, we had a cool project consisting of glow sticks and the very dark place. The objective was to capture the glow sticks in motion with a trail of light. I used an ISO 1250, shutter speed of 5.0, and f-stop of 3.5. This picture would've been almost perfect if the light on Angelica's camera wasn't flashing. This is my most near perfect picture because the background was pitch black.

Action Framing Pt 2

This photo was taken for the assignment action and framing. I was able to capture Ally skipping while framing her using the gate. I took this photo with and ISO 125, shutter speed of 1/250, and f-stop of 10.0.

Water Drops

The assignment given to us today was to capture water. We set up a bowl, and a dropper, and attempted to capture a water drops. I set the mode on Auto because I wasn't too sure what to use for this assignment, and my main objective was to capture a water drop hitting the bowl of water. It took me many tries to capture this due to precision and timing. Timing was an important key factor in this assignment.  I used an ISO 200, shutter speed of 1/60, and f-stop of 4.8 I also used the camera Auto for this photograph.

Framing Action

This is my framing and action photo. I took this using landscape mode. It is an ineffective photo because the action was blurry. I should've upped the shutter speed. I used ISO 400, and shutter speed of 1/8, and f-stop of 4.0. I could've taken a better photograph.

Studio Work

This photo was taken with the studio lights and a stencil of a heart. I cropped the photo so you could see the heart in his eyes better. I didn't use flash because using flash would have ruined the photograph. I used an ISO of 1600 because the room was very dark. I also used an f-stop of 4.8. This is an effective photo because I was able to capture the heart shape stencil in his pupil.

Flower...

This photograph was taken with Landscape mode, with a f-stop of 10, and ISO 1600. I liked how the dandelion was in contrast with the grass in the background.

Bugs / Pattern

The other day, we were assigned to take photos of bugs using pattern as the composition. The main focus for me, was to take pictures of a bug. Even though this doesn't follow the 'Pattern" composition, I am very fond of this photograph. I took multiple shots of the fly, and didn't realized that I took a photo of the fly eating something, and this was when the fly was done eating something. This photograph was taken on landscape mode, f-stop of 5.6, ISO 1600. I used a higher ISO because the area where I was in while taking this picture in was pretty shady.
